5 Laundry Tools to Make Your Life Easier

As a mom of three, laundry never stops. With kids, you’re always tackling grass stains, mystery marks, and the seemingly endless pile of clothes. Instead of letting laundry consume every day, I dedicate two days a week to knocking it all out. For me that is Tuesday and Friday’s This system has saved my sanity, and the right tools make it even easier.

Truly Free Stain Stick
An essential for tackling tough stains, this stain stick is both convenient and effective. Its natural ingredients penetrate deep into fabrics to lift stains without the need for harsh chemicals. Compact and easy to use, it’s perfect for on-the-go stain treatment. This comes free in the NEW YEAR BUNDLE Here are one of my boys jeans before and after. This was Just one treatment of the stain stick on the jeans and a wash cycle with the detergent above.

Wool Dryer Balls
These reusable dryer balls are a game-changer for laundry. They help reduce drying time by separating clothes, allowing more air to circulate. Additionally, they minimize wrinkles and static cling without the need for chemical-laden dryer sheets. For a natural fragrance, you can add a few drops of your favorite essential oil to the dryer balls before starting the cycle. I have both dark and light but I haven’t noticed any difference on different clothes. Truly Free also has dryer angels if you prefer something with a scent. I like to use these for blankets and sheets.

Fabric Shaver
This tool is so fun and you will be shocked how often you use it! Over time, fabrics can develop unsightly pills that make garments look worn out. A fabric shaver gently removes these pills, restoring your clothes to a like-new appearance. It’s easy to use and works on so many things. I have used it on clothes, stair runner, upholstered headboards and our couches. Watch me use it on a cashmere sweater!

Micro Stitch Tool
For quick repairs, the micro stitch tool is invaluable. It allows you to mend small tears or attach labels without sewing, using tiny, nearly invisible fasteners. This tool is especially handy for fixing hems or securing loose fabric in a pinch. I use it on stuffed animals also, See it in action here.

I have to add one BONUS tool that I know a lot of you are going to grumble about but I love my Iron. I have had multiple of these Rowenta Steam Irons and while they are pricey they do the job so well and make ironing quick and painless as possible. On my wishlist is the Rowenta hand held steam iron for quick wrinkle release. This brand just does it right.

Incorporating these tools into your laundry routine can enhance the care and longevity of your clothing, making laundry day more efficient and effective.
