My Top 5 Skin Secrets For Radiant Skin At 38

Aging gracefully is an art, and caring for my skin has become a vital part of my daily routine. At 38, I’ve discovered that maintaining radiant, healthy skin requires a bit more attention and a few key strategies. Over the years, I’ve refined my skincare regimen to include some essential tips and tricks that have made a noticeable difference. In this post, I’m excited to share my top 5 skin care secrets that are helping me age gracefully while keeping my skin glowing and youthful.

From finding the right products to adopting healthy habits, these tips are not just about looking good but also about feeling confident and taking care of myself. Let’s dive into my skincare journey and explore the practices that have become my go-to solutions for radiant skin at 38.

  1. Great Skincare – Over the years my budget on skincare has actually decreased but I have found that investing in a few key items makes a huge difference. I am currently using a mixture of Osea ( Code:Simplybokan10), Dime (Code:MandyB20), and Oliveda ( Take this quiz and get a personalized routine and freebie).

2. Face Tapping – When a friend of mine shared her face tapping results I figured why not. I grabbed my first roll of KT tape off of amazon, plus a guide from an expert and have been shocked by the results. Yes, I have tried botox. I am a big fan of everyone doing what they are comfortable with in this area. I believe in trying things for themselves and deciding what feels best. I loved how my forehead looked while the botox was fresh and I majorly disliked how much my brows had dropped due to the lack of muscle strength. This is not a replacement for frownies since that also freezes the muscle.

3. Cupping – In the last month I started to incorporate cupping into my routine two times per week. Face cupping can help improve fine lines and skin elasticity by increasing blood circulation and promoting lymphatic drainage, which helps to nourish the skin and stimulate collagen production. These techniques also aid in relaxing facial muscles and releasing tension, leading to a smoother, more youthful complexion. I ordered my skin cupping set and Empress oil from Wilding beauty. I absolutely love this oil. It is amazing and leaves your skin glowing. Use Code: SIMPLYBOKAN10 for 10% off

4. Collagen – I know this is not a skincare piece but great skin starts on the inside. My hair, skin and nails have never been better. Here are my own before and afters from 1 year of consistently. In the last 30 days I have actually started doubling up my collagen dosage ( 2 TBL) and have seen noticeable improvement even though I have been taking 1 tablespoon of collagen for almost 3 years. Modere’s Liquid Collagen is important for a skincare routine due to its highly bioavailable form, allowing for better absorption and more effective results in skin hydration and elasticity. It combines Type II collagen with hyaluronic acid and chondroitin sulfate, which work synergistically to enhance skin health and reduce signs of aging. Additionally, its liquid formulation makes it easy to incorporate into daily routines, ensuring consistent and convenient collagen intake.

5. Red Light Therapy – I purchased my Lumebox in November and have used it consistently 5 days a week. If you are on the fence about purchasing a a lumebox I was super happy to hear that I could use our HSA account since it is rated as a grade II medical device. Here is how it can affect skin on top of all of the other health benefits RLT can have on the body.

  • Anti-Aging Effects: RLT stimulates collagen production, which helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, leading to smoother, more youthful-looking skin.
  • Improved Skin Tone and Texture: Regular use of RLT can enhance overall skin tone and texture by promoting cell regeneration and improving blood circulation. This can result in a more even complexion and a healthier glow.
  • Reduction of Acne: RLT has anti-inflammatory properties that can help reduce acne and prevent future breakouts. It targets the sebaceous glands to decrease oil production and kill acne-causing bacteria.
  • Healing and Repair: RLT accelerates the skin’s healing process by promoting cell repair and growth. It can be effective in treating scars, wounds, and other skin damage.
  • Reduction of Inflammation and Redness: The anti-inflammatory effects of RLT can help reduce skin conditions such as rosacea, eczema, and psoriasis, leading to a calmer and less irritated complexion.

I would love to hear if you implement or try any of these tips,

Mandy
